Summary

Supervise all Guest Room Attendants, Housemen and Public Area Attendants on floors. Make sure that all linen closets are properly stocked and clean. Accurately record room checks. Inspect all check out – vacant clean and discrepant guest rooms.

Essential Functions

•Open / Close daily Housekeeping Operation
•Assign showrooms
•Maintain and keep order on the floor at all times among the employees.
•Report maintenance issues promptly.
•Motivate staff to obtain high levels of productivity and moral among staff.
•Check occupied and checked out rooms, making sure that they are properly cleaned.
•Train Room Attendants daily using inspected guest rooms and positive reinforcement.
•Inspect storage areas and routinely check hallways
•Clean guest rooms as needed.
•Check on all room attendants in their daily work, assist and advise if they need help.
•Notify Housekeeping / Front Office & Engineering Departments of any irregularities.
•Make sure that the end of the day report is made out correctly in order to clear the computer.
•Maintain accurate log of lost and found items
•Inspect guest rooms and public space daily and as needed to ensure cleanliness levels are maintained.
•Assist with weekly and monthly inventory and purchase of linen & guest supplies

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and color vision.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
