There’s a world of fun out there in Fort Lauderdale, perfect for kids of all ages. Before you go exploring, consult the Riverside Hotel concierge, your connection to an unforgettable family getaway.
9 a.m. – Fuel up for the exciting day ahead at family-friendly Indigo restaurant at Riverside Hotel.
10 a.m. – Stop by the concierge desk and schedule an Everglades Airboat Ride for the afternoon.
10:15 a.m. – Decisions, decisions. A morning swim in the Riverside Hotel pool or head to the beach just five minutes away? The kids call it: Beach!
1 p.m. – Pack some drinks, snacks and sunscreen and head for the Everglades. Don’t forget your camera.
3 p.m. — Today, you saw gators large and small. As well as blue heron, ibis and the second largest attraction in Florida — Sawgrass Mills Outlet Mall. It couldn’t hurt to spend a few minutes picking up designer deals.
5 p.m. – Dad and the kids take a quick swim in the pool, while Mom gets directions to the Museum of Discovery & Science and AutoNation IMAX Theater at the nearby Riverwalk Arts & Entertainment District. There’s a cool 3D IMAX movie your kids can’t wait to see.
7:30 p.m. – It’s dinner time! So what does everyone have a taste for? Is it the continental fare of Cheesecake Factory, or are you feeling love for French, Italian or Cuban tonight?
9:30 p.m. – End your busy day with a relaxing Water Taxi tour of the New River. The captain will pick you all up behind the Riverside Hotel.
