Weddings at Riverside Hotel

Thank you so very much for everything!  Our wedding and all the surrounding events were absolutely perfect!  We are so glad we chose to have everything at the Riverside Hotel!  There is no better place to have a wedding and there is nothing we would have done differently!  I know first hand why Riverside Hotel does so many weddings.  The hotel and all the staff rock!!  And Loma is amazing!

Everything turned out absolutely beautiful, as you said it would.  We heard nothing but compliments about everything.  From the valet, to our guest rooms, to the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, of course the wedding and reception, and even breakfast on Sunday.  Everything was perfect and everyone loved the Riverside Hotel. Thank you so very much Loma.  We could not have done it without you and I truly appreciate you!

We booked Riverside about a year ahead of our wedding, which took place on April 9th, 2022. From the very start, Loma was quick to respond, she showed us the venue and answered all of our questions in detail. Throughout the year leading up to the wedding, she was always available. Loma was well versed on our timeline for the day and she helped execute our vision beautifully. We've received several compliments from the guests about the beautiful venue and the attentive staff.
It is clear that Riverside is accustomed to hosting events - our event was beautiful and extremely professional on their end. The wait staff was stellar and all of the food options were delicious. If you are looking for a signature Fort Lauderdale wedding, Riverside is the place to be.

Our wedding at Riverside Hotel was absolutely magical. From the moment we met Loma Grant, the events director, we knew this is the place we wanted to get married. Through the entire process, Loma was there to answer questions, share her opinion and guide us along the way. Loma made everything so easy (and weddings are never easy!). She ensured that the evening went as smoothly as possible.

The venue itself was stunning. Our ceremony was at the New River patio overlooking the water. Our cocktail hour was on the Terrace overlooking the New River and our reception was in the ballroom. It was obvious from the start that everyone working on the events team loved what they did.

I would recommend this venue to anyone who wants a beautiful historic venue in the heart of Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale. You will not regret it. Riverside Hotel, Loma and her team can’t be beat!

The Riverside Hotel was the perfect location for our wedding weekend. Excellent service, amazing food & beverage, a spectacular venue, and great rooms. Loma Grant, Director of Catering Sales was so attentive, professional, and helpful throughout the entire process over a course of 14 months. Martine BienAimee, Group Sales Manager was very helpful with the guest room block. Chef Sabrina did an outstanding job with our wedding cake, and first class to Chef Brian and the culinary team. Aldo, Finn, and Guy from banquets provided amazing service throughout the weekend. Our guests are still raving what a spectacular weekend it was with the venue location, service, and quality food & beverage. Thank you to Loma and the Riverside team for creating such amazing memories to last a life time!

The wedding was unbelievable! I could not have been happier and I believe every single one of our guests were extremely impressed. The food was amazing. We got rave reviews. I'm sure when you saw my daughter with that binder you said "uh oh!" , but you knew just how to handle her. I appreciate that you took the time to soothe her and put her fears to rest. The Riverside was the perfect place to have our wedding. Loma did an amazing job keeping in contact with my husband and I, and our wedding coordinator. The view was amazing and I felt so comfortable the whole time. The staff was amazing, the food was to die for and the wedding cake was exactly how I envisioned. On December 5, 2021, my husband and I hosted our daughter's wedding there. Loma and her staff went beyond to meet our daughter's expectations and vision. The banquet staff, Chef, Bakery Chef were par excellance! Our guest are still talking about our wedding and the experience they had that day. From the impeccable service, lobby decor, attentive and professional staff, beautiful gardens, terrace and exquisite ball room, no detail was forgotten.Loma and Marteen met all of our expectations and were very accommodating. My cousin who lives in Coral Gables compared the Riverside to Ft. Ft. Lauderdale's Biltmore. Thank you for making their dreams come true.

We had our daughter's wedding at the hotel this past weekend and everything was amazing. The ballroom is fantastic and the views from the balcony adjacent at night are spectacular. The food and deserts were amazing as was the staff throughout the hotel. I highly recommend the Riverside hotel for a family or corporate function and you will love the location. FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY AROUND TO THE STAFF!!!

Riverside Hotel was top notch for our wedding. Loma was the best. She assisted every step of the way. We had a monsoon during our wedding ceremony which was suppose to be outside and the Riverside Hotel staff were able to transition the ceremony inside and in a snap transition the cocktail hour back outside when there was a break in the weather.We got several compliments on how great the food was and at least half of our guests stayed at the hotel and made it a weekend. The pool was a big pre-wedding hangout. The Big City Tavern across the street was the perfect after party spot for post rehearsal dinner and post wedding.10/10 all the way around to the entire staff!

Let me start by saying that I had to switch from another venue in the middle of wedding planning because they were dishonest and tried to raise prices after we signed a contract with them. I am SO HAPPY that we switched to the Riverside Hotel for our wedding!! Their customer service was excellent. I was so stressed out when I had to switch venues at first; however, Loma Grant answered all of my questions and put me at ease. I had so many questions and Loma answered them quickly and effectively. She is so kind, funny, efficient, and helpful! The venue has beautiful views of the river and downtown Fort Lauderdale. We had our ceremony/cocktail hour on the Skyline Terrace followed by our reception in the Himmarshee ballroom and we loved it!The catering and hotel staff did a fantastic job as well! Thank you Loma and all of the staff from the Riverside Hotel for our amazing wedding day!!

I had to reschedule my wedding multiple times and each time, Riverside was there for us! I painstakingly planned every detail of my day and wanted it to go as smoothly as possible. Riverside had everything we needed. We had our rehearsal dinner at Wild Sea, one of the multiple restaurants the hotel offers. The atmosphere was perfect. 

The food was delicious! They even have a pastry chef on staff. Everything you need in one place. My wedding day coordinator canceled on me the night before my wedding. I called Loma (the director of catering and the person who had been helping me schedule my event) and she saved my day! I told her everything I needed and she knew just what to do! I can't rave about this place enough. If you're getting married and you want somewhere beautiful and historic, Riverside is the place to go!

The Riverside Hotel saved the day for me and my beautiful bride our venue cancelled our wedding because of covid and thanks to Loma, Heiko, and the Riverside Staff we were able to have out amazing day!!! I would highly recommend this venue for any wedding, party or just to celebrate. It is located in the Heart of Downtown Fort Lauderdale. It is a stunning venue with some of the best views in town. If you are looking for a venue in Fort Lauderdale this is the spot!!! Thank you very much for making out day very special!! The Riverside Staff and Hotel will always be apart of our family!!!!

My husband and I had our wedding at The Riverside Hotel on October 9, 2021. The hotel was the second venue we looked at 2 plus years ago when we first started our planning, and we immediately fell in love with the ambiance and location of the hotel. Due to covid, our wedding had to be postponed a few times and the hotel made it very easy for us to reschedule and to finally get the wedding f our dreams. This could not have been possible without the help of Loma Grant, the Director of Catering Sales, who made the planning even easier. Loma is a delight to work with and has a wonderful attention to detail.We had our reception in the Champ Carr Ballroom and the room is a perfect setting for a small intimate wedding such as ours.

The venue, the people, the comforting rooms... this venue outdid itself! We had a wedding during Covid, and The Riverside Hotel made us feel like there was nothing to worry about and we could have the wedding of our dreams- and we did! Loma Grant was there with us through every step of the way, and she was a comfort when things became stressful. The pastry chef is AMAZING. Every single thing she does is a work of art for the eye and the mouth! Every plate of food was absolutely delicious, and they even gave me a special bride's dinner ;) This venue holds a special place in our hearts and we are forever grateful to have held our wedding at the Riverside Hotel.

Riverside is the perfect venue for a wedding! The staff is very accommodating and Loma is a dream to work with. She is passionate about marriage and it shows in her execution of a beautiful wedding day. 

I recommend the skyline terrace and Himmarashee Ballroom for the perfect flow from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner. Everything is located on the 8th floor so guests can be comfortable and not worry about using the elevator or stairs for duration of your special day.

From the very beginning of the planning stages to our wedding day, Loma Grant and the staff executed everything perfectly. Loma, the director of catering, was always very professional, pleasant, and always with a smile on her face. Every member of the staff…Kimberly, Martine , Ashline, Chef, Pastry Chef, Jerome…all very accommodating. 

Unfortunately, a few days before the wedding, there was a Covid outbreak with many cancellations. Loma did everything possible to help make the day beautiful. She was there every step of the way, always with a positive attitude and a solution. This was our second family wedding at the hotel and would highly recommend the Riverside Hotel.
